Collision analysis

Where the next safety scheme should go, and why.

Every police-recorded injury collision, with heatmaps and numbered hotspots, worst first. Filter by who was hurt, when it happened and in what conditions. Each street is compared with streets like it, allowing for chance, and ranked in your area. Draw round any area, or pick a street, for a report ready to send.

Permit assessment

Street works permits, assessed against the rules you work to.

The permits waiting in your area, soonest deadline first, straight from Street Manager. Each is checked against the Red Book and your permit rules, with the Section 58 restrictions and the other works on that street beside it, so two jobs on one corridor in the same week are caught before the road is dug up twice. Record the decision, or send it back to Street Manager, with the reasons kept.

Abnormal loads

Notified routes mapped and checked before you open them.

Auroute works with ESDAL and email. Each notification lands on your dashboard with its route cut to your boundary and checked for your structures, streetworks on its dates and past lorry collisions. Every bridge on your register is checked axle by axle. It says “within” or “exceeds”, never “pass”, so the decision stays with your engineer. Accept or reject in a tap; the reply is drafted and every decision is recorded.

TTROs and TROs

Traffic orders made on the map, from the closure to the notice.

Draw a temporary closure and its diversion, and Auroute drafts the Section 14 notice text and a plain summary, then publishes it to the public map beside the street works. Permanent orders are plotted to the kerb: waiting restrictions, bays and crossings, with the signs set out to the Traffic Signs Manual and the plan and schedule ready as a PDF or DXF. When the duty to send orders to D-TRO starts, Auroute sends the TTROs and notices you put on the map.

Haulier submissions

Hauliers notify you through Auroute, with nothing missing.

A haulier plans a movement in four steps: the load, the vehicle and its axle weights, the route on a map, and send. As they type, Auroute works out the regime and speeds, who must be told, the clear days of notice and the date each notice must reach them by, the attendants, marking and plates, and says what is still needed before it can go. It lands on your dashboard already checked, and the haulier sees where each authority has got to.
